FocusRider does not collect, store, or process any personal data from users. You are not required to log in or create an account to use the app. All your workouts and activities remain on your device, and only you have access to this information.
FocusRider stores your completed workouts locally on your device, meaning they are never transmitted or stored externally by us. This includes the workouts you execute within the app (e.g., power-based cycling workouts). Only you have access to this data unless you choose to share or export it manually.
FocusRider can connect to external platforms (like TrainingPeaks, Garmin Connect, or Strava) to import workouts you have planned with these services. However, these workouts are used only locally within the app to guide your training sessions. They are not sent back to these platforms or elsewhere unless explicitly exported by you.
We do not have any direct business partnerships or affiliate agreements with these third-party platforms or hardware manufacturers such as Wahoo, Tacx, Elite, Stages, Garmin, Polar, or other manufacturers of trainers, power meters, and heart rate sensors. The connection to these services is entirely at the discretion of the user.
FocusRider integrates with third-party platforms and devices to provide a seamless training experience, including but not limited to:
To connect to third-party platforms like Garmin Connect, Strava, or TrainingPeaks, the user must manually initiate the connection from within the app. The connection is done via an API, which requires you to log in to the respective platform and authorize FocusRider to access your data. FocusRider does not automatically connect to any platform or device without your explicit authorization.
Once connected, you can choose to export workout data to these third-party platforms (such as Garmin Connect or Strava) by manually selecting an export option (e.g., “Upload to Garmin Connect”). FocusRider does not send any data to third-party services without your explicit instruction. When you choose to export a workout, it is sent directly from your device to the third-party platform, and no data is retained by FocusRider beyond the local storage on your device.
Please note that any data you choose to share with third-party services is subject to their privacy policies and terms of service.
FocusRider does not share any data with third parties unless you initiate it. We do not store, process, or have access to your workout data after it has been exported from the app.
FocusRider has no business partnerships, sponsorships, or affiliate relationships with Garmin, Strava, TrainingPeaks, or any other third-party companies that manufacture cycling hardware or offer training services. Our app allows users to integrate with these services purely for user convenience. We do not receive any compensation, referral fees, or financial benefit from these integrations.
All connections between FocusRider and third-party platforms or devices are initiated and authorized solely by the user. The user retains complete control over which services they choose to integrate with and export data to.
FocusRider allows users to set up personalized notifications within the app to enhance their training experience. These notifications include alerts such as:
Notifications can be customized in the settings and are stored locally on your device.
We reserve the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or through another communication method. Please review this policy periodically for any updates.
